The original concept of the white tail midges came about in the 80s when l was into competitive FF events, originally used for stillwater fishing, I subsequently found that they are as effective used for moving water systems.

The addition of the SLF Prism dubbing greatly enhances the attraction of these midge patterns.

All midge patterns are tied with tungsten bead heads, which provide additional weight and added attraction. Often as not no additional weight is needed when fishing moderate depth flow water.
